In this role you will be responsible for:
• Surveillance of all logistical movements.
- Stockpile monitoring and control.
- Weighbridge monitoring.
- Daily reporting and data capturing.
- Create reservations and purchase requisitions
- Manage of work orders.
- Available to work overtime and stand by to ensure after hours response and support.
- Own transport and must be willing to travel between various sites.
- Attending to logistical concerns and requests.
- Assisting with general ad-hoc administration
- Compliance with management decisions, legal requirements and company standards/ policies.
- Adhere to sustainable development standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced term orientated environment.
About you:
- Grade 12.. and Higher certificate/ NQF Level 5 in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in material management in the mining industry.
- Computer literacy MS Office (Excel and Power Point)
- Good knowledge of SAP, PM systems and Coupa system
- Good Communication skills
- Knowledge of the mining process, standards, procedures, safety and legal requirements
