As a DevSecOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in embedding security controls and best practices across Axpo’s development and delivery pipelines. What you will do:
Implement and continuously improve Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and validation processes.
Perform application security activities (e.g., threat modeling, secure code reviews, SAST, DAST, dependency scanning).
Support cloud and containerized environments (Azure preferred) with secure configurations and controls.
Monitor security events, respond to incidents, and contribute to preventive measures.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, prioritize risks, and coordinate remediation efforts.
Research and recommend tools, techniques, and improvements to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
What you bring & who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
5–7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, preferably in security operations or engineering roles.
Strong understanding of SSDLC, application security principles, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Experience with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, threat modeling, and GitHub advanced security.
Knowledge of cloud security concepts (Azure & Cloudflare preferred) and container security.
Familiarity with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
Solid understanding of incident response and vulnerability management processes.
Professional working proficiency in English; German is a plus.
