Shape the future of Axpo's Nordic accounting operations and join us in Oslo to take ownership of compliance, regulatory reporting, and process controls for the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Finland). As Accounting Manager, you will ensure high-quality, reliable, and efficient accounting operations, drive process improvements, and support business growth while maintaining strong governance structures.
What you will do:
Own statutory and regulatory accounting for NO/SE/FI, ensuring deadlines, quality, and audit readiness.
Act as the Nordic accounting owner, leading governance, escalation, and cross‑country coordination in close cooperation with local and Group stakeholders.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of consolidation and group reporting in line with Axpo Group instructions.
Drive process improvements and automation in BC365 and related integrations to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Maintain robust documentation, training, and redundancy plans to safeguard business continuity.
What you bring & who you are:
Solid understanding of Nordic statutory accounting and tax frameworks, with the ability to assess implications, ensure compliance, and involve internal or external experts where needed.
Strong accounting foundation combined with a governance mindset and sound professional judgment.
Proven experience in leading or coordinating accounting processes in a multi-entity and/or international environment.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Business Central 365 or similar), process improvements, and internal controls.
Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust across functions and borders.
A proactive mindset, comfortable with ownership and continuous improvement, and motivated by building sustainable processes rather than quick fixes.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Norwegian, Swedish, and/or Finnish is a strong advantage.
