Are you keen on helping shape the future of Allianz in Asia, a key region of growth for the organization? Join ourregional agency/bancassurance distribution team in the Asian headquarters and experience first-hand theinnerworkings and the strategic steering of the Life and Health insurance business units. You will collaborate withvarious external & internal stakeholders and support the regional team in different projects, contributing to thetransformation of the distribution channel. This is your chance to gain insights and valuable practical experience inthe financial services and insurance industry, more specifically in the areas of corporate strategy and distribution,all while working in an international environment with exposure to various markets in Asia.
What you do
- Support analysis regarding distribution management activities via management dashboards and reports in theareas of distribution and corporate strategy (e.g. financial KPIs, growth metrics, competitor analysis etc.)
- Analyze current trends, key players, and market developments across Asia
- Review of company financials, growth drivers, economic factors changing the insurance landscape in Asia
- Provide data analysis and interpretation of relevant agency, bancassurance, customer & market data
- Contribute to and support the regional growth strategy to transform the distribution channel
- Project management on ad-hoc strategic initiatives in relation to development & execution of distributionecosystem strategies
- Manage internal and external stakeholders across the region
- Support the creation of convincing market development pitches Through activities mentioned above, the internwill be able to gain exposure, understand business steering activities and development of distribution strategies ofan international insurer and obtain hand-on experience by participating in real-life tasks and assisting teammembers
What you bring
- Highly motivated & affinity to work in high performance team– fast learning is key.
- Excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel, AI tools e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot
- Programming and data analytic skills are a plus
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Self-driven and team-oriented working style
- Attention to detail
- Dynamic, growth mindset with can-do attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a collaborative environment
- Interest in the role of agency distribution in the insurance value chain
- Previous work experience in consulting, actuarial and/or financial services related is a plus
- Bachelor degree (preferably in Business Admin, Economics, Actuarial)
- Penultimate or Final Year Bachelor students only
- To commit full-time and legally eligible to work in Singapore for 6 months
