About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our investment team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and developing the investment outlook across asset classes, providing macroeconomic and capital market insights to support decision making.
You will play a key role in supporting Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation (SAA/TAA), including ownership of capital market assumptions, leading the Tactical Asset Allocation process, and contributing to forwardlooking scenario analysis. The role will report to the Head Investment Strategy Development, and work closely with the CIO, Portfolio Management, and Risk functions to support investment performance and portfolio positioning. In addition you will support the finance team with input for the planning cycle.
Your responsibilities
Lead macroeconomic, thematic, and capital market research to support investment strategy and decision-making.
Develop and maintain capital market assumptions (CMAs) as key inputs to asset allocation and portfolio construction.
Formulate forward-looking investment views and translate them into strategic and tactical asset allocation recommendations.
Chair the Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) Committee and contribute to investment governance.
Partner closely with the CIO and Portfolio Management to align investment positioning across mandates.
Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and macroeconomic forecasting to assess portfolio impacts and support planning.
Monitor global economic, geopolitical, and market developments, identifying key risks and opportunities.
Produce investment outlooks, thematic research, and other high-impact publications.
Support portfolio construction through return, risk, and correlation analysis.
Represent the firm's investment views to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability within the investment team.
Your profile
University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA, AZEK, or equivalent preferred.
10–15 years' experience in investment strategy, asset allocation, or macroeconomic research; Reinsurance and/ or insurance experience an big plus.
Strong knowledge of capital markets, asset allocation, and macroeconomic trends.
Proven ability to develop capital market assumptions, investment outlooks, and data-driven strategies.
Experience translating macroeconomic views into portfolio positioning and tactical asset allocation decisions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, portfolio performance, and investment risks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with credibility at senior stakeholder level.
Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
