About the role
As an Investment Analyst, you support the implementation and ongoing management of investment portfolios and external mandates, contributing to portfolio monitoring, analysis and execution.
Working closely with senior team members, you help translate asset allocation decisions into portfolio actions, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and support the oversight of portfolio risks, performance and guideline compliance.
You are an integral part of the investment team, contributing to portfolio management, governance processes and investment analysis within an institutional, balance sheet–driven environment.
Your responsibilities
Support implementation of investment strategy across portfolios, including SAA and TAA decisions, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Monitor portfolio performance, risk, exposures, and compliance with investment guidelines, escalating issues as needed.
Assist with investment transactions and portfolio rebalancing to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
Analyse portfolio performance and risk reporting, providing insights to support investment decisions and stakeholder communication.
Support FX hedging by monitoring exposures and assisting with hedge execution.
Prepare high-quality materials for investment committees and governance forums.
Assist with asset manager selection, monitoring, reviews, and portfolio-related process improvements.
Support liquidity management through cash flow analysis, investment planning, and stakeholder coordination.
Your profile
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; progress towards CFA (or equivalent) is an advantage
1-4 years of experience in investment management, asset management, banking, (re)insurance or a related field
Sound knowledge across major asset classes (fixed income, equities and alternatives), with the ability to operate across a multi-asset balance sheet; deeper expertise in either liquid or alternative assets is considered an advantage
Solid understanding of financial instruments, capital markets and investment structures, ideally complemented by exposure to institutional investment contexts (e.g. insurance or pension).
Strong analytical and communication skills; high attention to detail, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn
Fluency in English; German is an asset
