What is this position about?

The Product Manager for Cash Management is responsible for the vision, strategy, and lifecycle management of our cash and liquidity solutions. You will define the roadmap for how corporate clients manage their banking channels, optimize their liquidity, and execute payments. Your goal is to build scalable, competitive, and compliant products that increase the bank's share of wallet and improve the client's operational efficiency.

What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like? 

Primary Role Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap

1. Vision Setting: Define the short- and long-term roadmap for Cash Management products (e.g., Virtual Accounts, Liquidity Sweeping, Automated Reconciliation, API, FCY Clearing, etc.).
2. Market Analysis: Conduct competitive benchmarking against other global and challenger banks to identify gaps in the product offering.
3. Prioritization: Manage the product backlog, balancing "must-have" regulatory updates with "nice-to-have" feature enhancements based on ROI and client demand.

• Solution Design & Execution

1. Requirements Definition: Write detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and User Stories for engineering and IT.
2. Modernization: Lead the transition from legacy payment formats to ISO 20022 and drive the adoption of Open Banking/APIs for real-time treasury visibility.
3. Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure all products meet regional and international banking regulations.

• Commercialization & Growth

1. Pricing Strategy: Develop pricing models for cash management services to ensure profitability while remaining competitive.
2. Go-to-Market (GTM): Create sales enablement materials, training for Relationship Managers, and client-facing documentation.
3. Feedback Loop: Work closely with RMs, Implementation Managers, CS, and Sales to identify friction points in the user journey and iterate the product.

Other contributions

• Ad-hoc requests – management reports and regional team requests
• Pre-sales support – often, the candidate will be required to participate in pre-sales meetings and RFP beauty parades.
• CSD support/backup – naturally, recently onboarded clients and clients with sophisticated implementation will require support, Implementations manager will work independently, or with CSD, Sales, RMs to support clients.

What is required for you to succeed?

Experience

• Tenure: 5 to 10 years in Product Management, specifically within Corporate Banking, Treasury, or FinTech.
• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of liquidity structures, payment rails (KFTC, BOKWire, SWIFTNet, H2H, etc.), and corporate treasury workflows.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with product development and an understanding of how core banking systems integrate with client ERPs.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Messaging Standards: Strong knowledge of SWIFT standards.
• Analytical Rigor: Ability to analyze raw payment files and troubleshoot formatting errors.
• Client-Facing Presence: Ability to lead high-stakes meetings with Treasurers and IT Directors.
• Certification: PMP or specialized Treasury certifications (e.g., CTP - Certified Treasury Professional) are a significant advantage.

Performance Indicators (Success Metrics)

• Product Adoption Rate: The percentage of the eligible client base using the new feature or product. (e.g., "What % of our corporate clients have migrated to the new API-based reporting?")
• Revenue Growth (ARPU): Increase in the Average Revenue Per User/Client through new product /increased transaction volumes.
• Time-to-Market: The speed at which a concept moves from the "Idea/BRD" phase to "General Availability (GA)."
• Roadmap Predictability: The ability to hit milestones on the roadmap without constant delays or "emergency" pivots.
• Stakeholder Alignment: High levels of confidence from the Sales/Relationship Management teams that the product is "sellable" and solves actual client pain points.
• Technical Debt Management: Balancing the delivery of new features with the need to upgrade the underlying legacy banking architecture
