Description & Requirements
Associate – Baker & McKenzie LLP – New York, NY: Remain current on issues of international tax law. Draft memoranda, legal opinions, & other client-related documents. Conduct research on specific legal issues, especially those which apply to our international clients in the area of tax. Must have a JD, LLM, or foreign equivalent & 1 year of exp. with an international law firm or as a judicial law clerk. Of exp. required, must have 1 year of exp. with each of the following: (i) Preparing or reviewing summary judgment briefs & other written work product & court filings; (ii) Preparing or analyzing witness depositions; & (iii) Researching technical areas of law for application in contested court hearings or trials. Must also be licensed to practice law in New York. Exp. may be gained concurrently. Hybrid role. Pay Range: $310,000 to $390,000. Please apply at bakermckenzie.com/careers.

Pay Transparency
- This position is bonus eligible and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) based on number of hours worked.
- The US base compensation for this position is expected to be 310000 to $390000 (annually or hourly) if located in an office in the state of New York. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
