Analytics Solutions Analyst

The Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Global Services team functions as an internal business, metrics reporting, and analytics group responsible for delivering highly quantitative and qualitative reports and analytics tools that support bankers, salespeople, and senior management agendas. This role offers the opportunity to work at the center of strategic decision-making, shaping insights that promote business performance across the global Corporate and Investment Banking organization.
As an Analytics Solutions Analyst within the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Global Finance and Business Management organization, you will assist with data and management reporting development for regulatory operations, learn core business processes, build new data mart capabilities, develop metrics/management reporting, provide decision support via ad hoc reporting and data analytics, have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that help promote profitability and efficiency across the Commercial Banking organization, and be responsible for assisting the business in ongoing development and maintenance of BI tools, data management, data analytics and reporting & analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
Define, monitor, and report key managements metrics around the health of an operations program/business
Manage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting & dashboarding book of work, leveraging rigorous project management discipline
Partner with senior leaders in advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, quality enhancements, etc.
Define, design, and drive high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above – ranging from delivering business initiatives to engineering enabling capabilities
Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending data enhancements to improve data quality
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Need hands on experience with
Programming languages: SQL, Python
Data visualization tool: Any
Analytics: RCA, Pre-post analysis, EDA (Basic), dashboarding
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data. Ability to design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / modeling / visualization)
Effectively communicate insights/recommendations (verbal and written). Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
3+ years of experience, preferably in financial services. Graduate/Post Graduate preferably with Computer/Finance/Statistics as core area.
Knowledge of Cloud & Distributed file systems, e.g., AWS, Hadoop, Jira & MS Office is a plus
Shift Timing: EMEA (1pm to 10pm) & Location: Bengaluru
