Drive the Future Intern - Finance Legal Entity Controller

Chile’s Drive the Future Program is designed to strengthen JPMorganChase’s early-career talent pipeline by attracting and developing recent graduates with their first professional experience.
Through a structured training and development experience, participants receive educational content designed to help them navigate the organization, develop key technical and interpersonal skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the JPMorganChase culture. They will also gain exposure to the firm’s culture, values, and organizational structure while building a strong professional network.
During journey in our program, you’ll collaborate with our expert professionals to influence and shape decisions and initiatives that support our businesses across the firm. You'll have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions while developing your professional expertise in a dynamic team environment.
In Chile, DTF opportunities are open to candidates who graduated within the last 12 months. Participants are hired for an initial 6-month period, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months based on participant performance, feedback, and business needs. This role requires full-time, in-person availability in Santiago de Chile only.
In this opportunity the LATAM & Canada Controllers Business Management team is looking a new team member. The LATAM & Canada Controllers’ goals are to ensure a sound control environment and provide financial advice to support the Corporate & Investment Bank's business strategy around the globe. LATAM & Canada Regional Controller Business Manager is seeking for a new member that joins the regional effort, based in Santiago de Chile. Regional Controllers Business Manager is responsible to oversee and monitor control efforts, monitor headcount, people and expenses as well than run multiple projects related to corporate legal entity strategy, local regulatory agenda as well than reporting programs.
Job responsibilities:
- Support Project execution (Implementation of new projects to enhance controls and process in the region as well than participate in projects executed at global level).
- Support Control Metrics and Key items/initiatives scorecard production.
- Support Preparation of monthly and quarterly control forums
- Support and monitor administrative requirements, people/HC requirements, control requirements, BM requirements between others.
- Support/Monitor policies and procedures changes that may impact LATAM LEC organization, socialize and run gap analysis if needed.
Job Requirements:
Advanced English proficiency
Full-time availability to work in person
Recent graduate (within the last 12 months) on Finance, Accountancy or Business Admistration.
Knowledge in financial products (focus on derivatives).
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Results-driven, “can-do” attitude with a focus on execution and delivery
Highly organized and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Team-oriented, with strong collaboration and emerging leadership skills
Proactive and dynamic, with the ability to perform well under pressure
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
Basic knowledge of finance and accounting
Strong data skills, including proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Power BI and/or SQL, to analyze and interpret data to support decision-making
Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., generative AI) to improve productivity, analysis, and problem-solving, using sound judgment and following applicable guidelines
