Contribute to the digital transformation of Finance and Tax activities at TotalEnergies
Join a high-impact assignment at the heart of TotalEnergies’ Finance and Tax functions in the Netherlands.
Within the Tax and Finance teams of TotalEnergies EP Nederland BV, you will contribute to the optimization, automation, and digitalization of key processes covering taxation, financial reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement of working methods.
You will work in an international environment where technology, data, and innovation support Finance and Tax business activities. This assignment will enable you to develop recognized expertise in process automation, data analytics, Power BI, Power Automate, and transformation project management.
You will work closely with two complementary teams: the Dutch Tax Department and the Finance team of the Exploration & Production subsidiaries in the Netherlands.
Main Responsibilities
Throughout your assignment, you will contribute to the digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement of Finance and Tax processes.
Tax Responsibilities
Automate tax processes: you will contribute to the development and enhancement of tools aimed at automating complex tax calculations, particularly those related to the monitoring and valuation of tax assets. You will work closely with Tax and Finance teams to secure and improve the reliability of existing processes
Improve tax compliance management: you will participate in optimizing tools used to monitor tax obligations, automating information flows, and implementing solutions that enable better tracking of deadlines, actions, and interactions with tax authorities
Develop reporting and data analytics solutions: you will contribute to the design and enhancement of databases, dashboards, and Power BI reports to strengthen business monitoring and improve visibility on key performance indicators
Finance Responsibilities
Optimize financial reporting processes: you will collaborate with Finance teams to identify opportunities for automating monthly reporting, closing forecasts, and budgeting processes currently managed in Excel
Map and improve working methods: you will analyze existing processes, identify critical dependencies, and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency, ensure tool sustainability, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the teams

Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree or Engineering degree with a specialization in Computer Science, Data, Digital Technologies, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field. A strong interest in Finance and Tax topics is essential
- Excellent command of Excel
- Good knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate.
- Knowledge of database management
- Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into practical digital solutions
- Fluent English (minimum B2+/C1 level)
Preferred Qualifications
- Initial experience in automation, digitalization, data analytics, or process transformation
- Knowledge of Finance, Management Control, Taxation, or Financial Reporting.
- Experience with EPM or financial reporting tools
- Experience in dashboard design and data visualization
- Interest in innovation, change management, and continuous improvement
