Skills and Competencies

Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience administering GitHub Enterprise platforms in multi-instance environments
Strong expertise with GitHub products including GitHub Enterprise, GitHub CoPilot, and GitHub Actions
Proven ability to design, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Tekton
Advanced scripting capability in JavaScript, Python, or Java/SpringBoot for automation and workflow optimization
Deep understanding of REST APIs, including GitHub APIs, for integration, automation, and platform customization
Experience working with PostgreSQL or Spanner databases for platform and application support
Hands-on experience supporting Linux environments and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
Clear understanding of authentication protocols including OAuth2, OpenID, and integration experience with Azure Active Directory APIs
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), OpenShift, FOSSA, or similar cloud and CI/CD technologies
Exposure to AI/ML bot development or security tooling
Knowledge of MCP server maintenance and configuration best practices
Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for administering, supporting, and optimizing GitHub Enterprise platforms and integrated CI/CD systems across a global multi-instance environment.

Administer GitHub Enterprise platforms and associated products, including GitHub CoPilot, GitHub Actions, and other GitHub tools across multi-instance environments
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GitHub products, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines
Support and assist in migrating GitHub on-premises data to GitHub Enterprise Managed User (EMU)
Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Tekton, and related tools
Create and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript, Python, or Java/SpringBoot to streamline processes and workflows
Administer and troubleshoot OAuth2, OpenID, and integrations with Azure Active Directory APIs
Monitor, triage, and resolve platform support tickets in partnership with global teams
Document systems, processes, and configurations; provide training and guidance to administrators and end users
Identify improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance system, product, and process performance
Actively participate in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
