Activities
Join our HSSE team within the Marketing & Services branch and contribute to ensuring safe, compliant and sustainable operations across strategic terminal sites.
Reporting to the HSSE Director, you will play a central role in deploying and monitoring Health, Safety, Security and Environmental practices while supporting operational teams on a daily basis.
- You implement and monitor HSSE policies, standards and action plans across sites, ensuring full compliance with company rules and international regulations.
- You coordinate incident and accident investigations, analyse root causes and ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked to completion.
- You oversee environmental monitoring activities (energy, water, waste, fuel) and support the deployment of environmental action plans in coordination with local stakeholders.
- You support operational teams in risk assessments, audits, emergency response planning and safety compliance, ensuring continuous improvement of risk prevention practices.
- You promote a strong safety culture by training and raising awareness among employees, contractors and transporters, and ensuring the application of key safety rules.
Candidate Profile
📚 Education: Degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences or equivalent
⏳ Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in industrial operations, ideally in oil & gas, chemical or related industries
🖥️ Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HSSE standards and regulatory frameworks ; Experience in risk assessment and incident investigation ; Ability to analyse data and produce reports ; Proficiency in MS Office tools
👉 Soft Skills: Strong communication and influencing skills ; Ability to promote a safety-first mindset ; Teamwork and collaboration ; Autonomy and problem-solving mindset
🗣️ Languages: Fluent English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
📦 Specific Knowledge : Knowledge of fuel, chemical or industrial operations environment
