As Senior Regulatory Affairs Lead, you will join Regulatory Affairs at a defining moment. Activities
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Regulatory Affairs Lead, you will help shape and strengthen regulatory affairs across the business. Responsibilities include:
- Represent TEPDK’s interests in strategic and operational dialogue with regulatory authorities, industry stakeholders, partners and contractors
- Act as a key connector between internal teams such as Field Operations, Projects, HSE, Technical Services, Commercial and Legal, and relevant external stakeholders
- Drive permitting and license handling strategy, including license extensions, consultation responses, freedom of information requests and other regulatory communications
- Monitor legislative developments, public hearings and regulatory changes relevant to TEPDK, and translate implications into clear guidance for the business
- Develop and maintain core regulatory processes and digital tools, including the obligation register, quality assurance and quality control gate, document archive, process maps and risk management framework
- Support regulatory governance across joint venture partner, infrastructure owner, contractor and TotalEnergies Group interfaces, in close collaboration with Commercial and Legal
- Provide regulatory advisory support to operations and help align management system procedures with applicable requirements and ALARP principles
- Promote technical and regulatory excellence, collaboration, knowledge sharing, safety, compliance and confidentiality across projects, departments and locations

Candidate Profile
What we are looking for

- You communicate confidently across authorities, partners, contractors and internal teams
- You take initiative and are comfortable working in an area where processes are still developing
Your background
- Relevant degree, for example within law, engineering, political science or similar, or equivalent experience
- Fluent Danish and professional English, both written and spoken
- Strong Danish regulatory foundation and fluency in the legislative frameworks governing TEPDK’s operations
- Experience working with or alongside the Danish Energy Agency, Danish Working Environment Authority, Danish Environmental Protection Agency or equivalent regulators
- Collaborative stakeholder approach, including the ability to hold a clear position with an authority, build trust with a joint venture partner and influence colleagues who do not report to you
- Ability to read and apply regulation independently, including consultation processes, freedom of information request obligations and compliance frameworks
- Experience bridging regulatory requirements with commercial, contractual and operational decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to build structured processes, risk frameworks and governance models in a regulatory or compliance context, and the digital fluency to turn them into practical tools
- An accountable and proactive mindset, comfortable operating with autonomy, making judgement calls and building something that does not fully exist yet
