Job Description:

The Head of China Tax is responsible for leading and overseeing all tax matters relating to Castrol's operations in China. The role acts as the senior tax leader for the country, the principal holder of relationships with fiscal authorities and senior business leaders, and is accountable for ensuring effective tax governance, compliance and risk management across the organisation.

The role is focused on leading and managing all tax matters relating to Castrol's operations in China. The role holder will provide oversight of local tax compliance, reporting, governance and risk management activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and supporting the business in navigating an evolving tax landscape. The role will also play a key role in driving operational excellence, strengthening tax processes and supporting business objectives within China.

The Head of China Tax will be a member of the Castrol Tax Leadership Team and will actively contribute to the development and delivery of Castrol's tax strategy, governance framework, risk management approach and broader leadership agenda. The role will act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders in China, providing tax insight and guidance to support strategic decision-making and sustainable business growth.

Reporting to the Castrol Head of Tax, the Head of China Tax will be a key contributor to the delivery of Castrol's tax strategy and objectives, providing tax expertise across all aspects of the business and actively contributing to the Castrol Tax Leadership Team.
