Job Description:

About us

Our purpose is to bring together people, energy and markets to power and navigate a changing world. In a time of constant change and possibility we need new talent to pursue commercial opportunities, fueled by world-class insight and expertise. We’re always striving for more innovative digital solutions, sustainable outcomes and closer collaboration across our company and beyond, and you could be part of that too. Together we continue to grow as the world’s leading energy company.

About the role

This is a Castrol requisition, and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence ahead of the Castrol divestment later in 2026. From the point of the divestment, you will be employed fully by Castrol and no longer be a bp employee.

The Plant Manager leads the Baton Rouge manufacturing facility, the largest lubricant blending operation in the Americas region, with full accountability for safety, regulatory compliance, operational performance, product quality, service, cost, and workforce leadership. The role also oversees connected warehouse operations, bulk transfer activities, and supports contract manufacturing within the regional supply network.

The long-term vision for Baton Rouge is to operate as a world-class manufacturing site, grounded in principles of Lean, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Autonomous Maintenance, reliability excellence, and digitally enabled performance management. The Plant Manager will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the transformation roadmap—building systems discipline, capability, and culture to enable high performance and sustainable operational maturity.

This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain – Americas and is a member of the Americas Supply Chain Leadership Team.
