About the role

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to join the agile, fast-paced and exciting integrated team that Advises partners on opportunities for Production Management, Depletion Management, and Area Development Planning to improve production and recovery from this field. The successful candidate will lead core activities within an integrated group of bp and partner subsurface staff and constantly collaborating with other departments and the India Shareholding team to define and progress the implementation of the short and long-term plans. 

As a Reservoir engineer you will be responsible for utilizing broad reservoir engineering experience to inform resources progression and the appropriate reservoir management activities are implemented.

What you will Deliver:

Promote a strong safety culture, recognize the HSE impact on all works, communicate as appropriately to possible collaborators. Ensure all programs evaluated for potential hazards during the execution. Work withing the bp team and partner, utilizing broad classical reservoir engineering methods to properly analyze and integrate wells and reservoir data into the team’s current understanding.

Minimum years of proven experience:

Minimum 6+ years’ experience as Reservoir Engineer, with experience in classical reservoir engineering and reserves estimation.

Your line manager will be the Performance Manager -PE/RE

You will work in the bp & partner Mumbai offices.

You will work in close collaboration with both bp and partner subsurface and production teams and with bp’s global subsurface technical specialists and subject matter experts.
