Do you want to make a visible impact on the quality and reliability of financial and sustainability reporting at one of the Netherlands’ leading banks? Are you passionate about risk management, governance, controls, and translating complex regulations into practical solutions?

As a Finance Reporting Control Consultant (internal control), you will play a key role in strengthening ABN AMRO’s Finance Control Framework across the Netherlands and our international locations. You will work at the intersection of Finance, Risk, Sustainability, Regulatory Reporting, and IT, helping the bank navigate an increasingly complex reporting landscape.

In this role, you will challenge, advise, and support Finance teams in identifying financial and sustainability reporting risks, designing effective controls, and creating a robust control environment that enables reliable reporting to regulators, investors, and other stakeholders. Every hour another topic at your desk. One hour you may be deep-diving into the impact of new tooling and processes, and the next you may be collaborating with international Finance teams to improve controls around sustainability disclosures.

Your job

As a Finance Reporting Control Consultant, you are a trusted advisor to Finance management and a key contributor to the continuous improvement of ABN AMRO’s global Finance Control Framework.

You will join the Financial Reporting Control (FRC) team, part of the Reporting department within Finance Group.
