What role will you play?
You will be an integral part of a high-performing team responsible for originating and executing equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings and block trades. You will conduct research, monitor equity market trends, investor sentiment and macroeconomic developments, and be responsible for preparing client presentations, investor materials, and market updates to support deal origination and execution.
In addition, you will assist with transaction execution, covering both internal and external workstreams, including hosting meetings and roadshows, structuring and pricing. You will work closely with various teams at Macquarie, including global sector and country coverage bankers, regional sales and trading teams and our support staff.
What you offer
- 2-3 years’ experience in an investment bank, ideally with experience of equity capital markets
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques
- Strong understanding of and interest in equity capital markets dynamics, investor behaviors and issuance processes
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (in both English and Mandarin), enabling you to present key insights to senior stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience of Dealogic and Bloomberg an advantage
- A team player who excels in a fast paced and challenging work environment
- High energy levels with the desire to contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of Asia Equity Capital Markets.
