What role will you play?
Using your alternative funds expertise, you will lead the legal aspects of private credit fund formation, fundraising activity and client platforms across Europe and the USA. You will partner with our businesses including infrastructure credit, direct lending, CLOs and other long-term credit strategies. You will collaborate with product specialists and portfolio teams to structure funds and separate managed accounts, while supporting the ongoing growth of our Private Credit platform. You will manage a team of funds lawyers and contribute to new initiatives, including semi-liquid vehicles, high net worth products and structured solutions for insurance clients.What you offer
- 10+ years’ of experience in alternative funds, including establishing private credit funds in EMEA and negotiating separate managed accounts.
- Deep knowledge of European asset management regulation and working knowledge of US fund structures and regulation.
- Experience working with cross-border fund structures and managing global legal matters.
- A mix of private practice and in-house experience, with the ability to manage external advisers effectively within time and budget.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and a proactive approach to working in a growing Credit business and to support the business in new initiatives.
- A good understanding of typical strategies within European and US credit platforms.
