What role will you play?
You will provide compliance advice, monitoring and oversight to support the business, working closely with front office teams, responding to regulatory enquiries, conducting monitoring and control reviews, and maintaining strong policies, procedures and training programmes. You will also contribute to regional projects and play an active role in strengthening our control environment.What you offer
- 5 years’ of experience in compliance covering cash equities brokerage and/or investment banking businesses within a financial institution
- Strong understanding of Japanese capital markets and related laws and regulations
- A team player with the ability to work in partnership with business and functions in the region and globally, as well as compliance colleagues locally and regionally
- Experience engaging with regulators such as FSA, TSE, and JSDA, and supporting regulatory inspections
- Complete proficiency in Japanese and business level English communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management and ability to learn new concepts quickly.
