What role will you play?
Reporting to the APAC Head of T&O, you will act as the primary T&O partner for Korean and Japanese portfolio companies, leading the development and execution of Value Creation Plans, translating investment theses into clear, actionable initiatives that drive top and bottom line growth, cost optimisation, and overall value enhancement. Your responsibilities will include working closely with management teams to identify key priorities, establish transformation programmes, and ensure disciplined execution throughout the asset lifecycle.In a highly collaborative and hands-on environment, you will drive major strategic initiatives including transformation programme delivery, operational improvements, and M&A activities. You will play a key role in due diligence by identifying actionable value levers, execution risks, and post-acquisition priorities, while also coordinating with specialist teams across areas such as organisation, safety, cybersecurity and technology to drive outcomes. You will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including boards and C-suite executives, bringing commercial judgement and practical insight to influence decisions and accelerate performance.
What you offer
- 10+ years of experience in top-tier consulting (MBB, LEK), private equity, or infrastructure investing, with a strong focus on value creation and transformation
- Proven track record of delivering measurable value creation outcomes (e.g. EBITDA growth, cost optimisation, revenue expansion) at portfolio company level
- Experience translating investment theses into practical value creation plans and leading execution in close partnership with management teams
- Strong exposure to M&A across the lifecycle, including operational/commercial due diligence and post-acquisition value creation or integration
- Ability to operate as a trusted advisor with exceptional stakeholder influencing skills, a consultative and collaborative approach and native Korean fluency. Japanese language skills are an advantage.
