What role will you play?
You will provide application support to business users across the APAC region, working as part of a global DevOps team operating a “Follow the Sun” support model. You will help ensure production system stability by monitoring applications, remediating alerts and managing incidents through to resolution. You will also contribute to continuous improvement across the technology environment by enhancing DevOps processes through automation, supporting server patching and migrations, addressing technology obsolescence and helping move applications from on-premises infrastructure to public cloud.What you offer
- 2+ years’ experience supporting Java/Spring-based applications, ideally within a financial services or front office environment
- Experience in application operations support, including monitoring, incident management and production issue resolution
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, with working knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting
- A proactive engineering mindset, with an interest in improving support processes through automation, scripting and technical problem solving
- Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, as well as tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket or GitHub
- Experience using monitoring, incident management or scheduling tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Helix, ServiceNow or Control-M
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Codex, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue
- Experience with messaging technologies, SWIFT/FIX protocol, cloud migration or Equity Finance products would be advantageous.
