What role will you play?
In partnership with the Director of Engineering, you will have end to end responsibility for your Runtime Security Engineering Platform. You will be jointly accountable for providing products to meet business need in Web and API security, vulnerability management, detection engineering, Public and Private Cloud networking.As the Director of Product, you will lead a team of Product Managers and work closely with internal customers to understand business requirements, develop product roadmaps, prioritise features and fixes, and inspire stakeholders with North Star visions and pragmatic target states. You will engage with peers to ensure the platform and products are fit for purpose and meet the Corporate Operations Group strategy and the organisation's goals. You will foster and nurture an innovative culture that encourages innovative thinking, understanding of risk while taking a collaborative approach to problem solving.
What you offer
- Own the strategy and Product Roadmap for Runtime Security Engineering Platform which includes managing controls for Web Application Firewalls, API Security, Vulnerability detection and Cloud network connectivity and overlay networking.
- Drive engagement with internal customers through your Product Managers, collaborating to balance business demand with available resourcing.
- Work closely with the Director of Engineering for Runtime Security Engineering Platform to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements, plan future initiatives and make the right priority calls.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to innovate, provide direction and help other platforms meet their goals.
- Understand business and technology risks, assessing impact, planning actions and negotiating outcomes with L1 business-aligned risk, L2 compliance and operational risk and L3 Internal Audit teams.
- Evaluate new technology, manage budgets and make long-term plans to fund new capabilities to meet demand.
- Manage product-level relationships with key suppliers.
