What role will you play?
As an Associate in the team, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end valuation process for ANZ infrastructure assets, covering digital infrastructure, registries, utilities, and transport, working closely with asset teams, external independent valuers, and fund management teams to ensure valuation quality, consistency, and governance. You will review and challenge valuations prepared by asset teams, conduct market benchmarking and comparable analysis to evidence your challenge, and manage the relationship with external valuers across both Positive Assurance and Full Valuation cadences. You will prepare materials for valuation committees and maintain the governance documentation, exception logs, trigger assessments, and audit trails, to a standard that withstands regulatory scrutiny. Alongside the valuation work, you will track and report key performance metrics and provide analytical insights across the portfolio, including valuation drivers and bridge analysis, and performance commentary for board papers and LP reporting. You will also participate in fund strategy and portfolio composition discussions, bringing analytical rigor to decisions on capital deployment, sector exposure, and portfolio construction.Beyond just ANZ, you will also contribute to broader APAC and global initiatives.
What you offer
- 3–6 years' experience in valuations, transaction services, infrastructure or real assets advisory, audit (valuation-focused), or a closely related buy-side or sell-side role.
- Strong working knowledge of DCF valuation mechanics & modelling,
- Comfort with IRR attribution, valuation bridge analysis, and fund-level performance analytics; advanced Excel modelling is expected
- Exposure to infrastructure or real assets valuation is a strong advantage, given the asset class nuances — regulated pricing, concession structures, and long-duration cash flows.
- Familiarity with IPEV or RICS valuation standards, or a clear willingness to develop that knowledge quickly.
