Job Description
Role Purpose:
As a key member of the CEMEA Hub Loyalty Solutions team, the Loyalty Product Manager leads end-to-end delivery and ongoing optimization of Visa's loyalty capabilities. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions that launch on time, perform to target, and drive revenues.

Key Responsibilities:
New Product Design, Product Enhancements and Commercialization:
- Lead all efforts with vendors and technology teams to design Loyalty Product solutions and enhancements to existing solutions according to market needs, including CVP, UX, marketing communications
- Collaborate with Vendor and Client Loyalty teams to help create compelling value-add programs, customer experience enhancements and consumer engagement initiatives
- Lead the commercial construct, vendor negotiations, regional pricing approvals, vendor and client pricing finalization, business case and Annual Operating Plan finalization with all Sub Regions
- Lead all market pre-assessments with regional business development, BPO and Product teams to identify potential client base, pricing, revenue models and funding models
- Develop per market sales and launch plan in conjunction with regional Solutions, BD and Marketing teams
- Collaborate with Global teams on incorporating Visa assets and new capabilities into each client program
Go to Market & Sales Leadership:
- Lead sales to new issuers across CEMEA markets with BD’s and sub regional loyalty and product delivery teams
- Lead the Market launch including program content, communication methodology (VBNS, campaigns), program opt-out management, contract management, MDF utilization tracking
- Prioritize all integration efforts with target launch clients across CEMEA and establish implementation timelines as well as the Go to Market approach for each individual issuer
Vendor Management:
- Managing the day-to-day relationships with the chosen 3rd party vendors, including weekly status meetings, quarterly business reviews
- Management of Service Level Agreements, Cybersecurity Findings, and effective closure
- Working with the sourcing team to construct and update vendor agreements
- Day to day management including invoicing and billings, sourcing and call centre attestations
Profit and Loss Management:
- Develop and manage Profit and Loss statements
- Track and report (by market) revenue, direct cost, gross margin, operating expenses, operating income, and net profit
- Communicate performance to the CEMEA Loyalty Team and sub regions
Implementation:
- Drive end to end implementation of programs across CEMEA working with Vendor(s), Sub Regional Product and Client Services teams
- Assist in developing and executing a program launch calendar by working with key internal stakeholders and external partners from project start to end
- Act as point-of-contact for program status and key deliverables with internal and external partners/vendors
- Execute programs on the sales pipeline and lead projects to ensure milestones are met and projects are executed on time
- Assist with handling of redemption operations, reconciliations and logistics where required and in special cases.
- Review activity reports for program performance tracking and monitoring and setting forth recommendations to senior product teams and client management
- Interact with Visa Cybersecurity team and Vendor(s) to remediate any potential findings to ensure robustness of the underlying platform
Future Functionalities Development:
- Lead all efforts to identify and prioritize future functionalities, in partnership with cross functional + cross sub-regional teams as well as the primary solution vendor
- Collect Sub-Regional requirements on future functionalities and prioritize which ones to include for the loyalty solution/s
- Identify leading partners to develop future functionality capabilities in the platform
- Lead all commercial negotiations with 3rd party vendors to develop new functionalities
- Lead operational and technical efforts to bring new functionalities to life in the platform
Thought Leadership:
- Create thought leadership material and drive best practice knowledge content and digital customer experience (e.g., case studies, white papers)
- Socialize loyalty solutions at client forums to showcase capabilities of the platform as well as drive interest from new issuers and merchants
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in payments product management, payment processing, operations or consulting, experience in new product launch and program management is desirable
- Minimum 8 years of strong experience in loyalty solutions utilizing analytical and project/program management skills to support and implement solutions
- Curious self-starter, fast learner and critical thinker able to imagine and absorb new market developments and evolving client needs and translate those into practical Visa solutions
- Technically astute to work through overall functional specifications, market nuances and client payment ecosystems
- Go getter delivering results while engaging cross functional teams for the fast-paced delivery
- Excellent problem solving & communication skills with a focus on client solutioning and ability to drive the thinking to more innovative levels
- Strategic thinker able to piece together a broader business picture and then drill down into modular components and detailed requirements
- Strong team player internally and with clients, working independently to coordinate cross functional activities, obtaining critical support from multiple stakeholders
- Possesses meaningful and credible knowledge of Visa assets (VOP, Visa Net etc.)
- Uses expertise to challenge internal and client’s conventional thinking and is sought after for expertise
- Due to focus on specific markets, proficiency in English language is a must.
