Your work profile
- As an SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Analyst to support maintenance, reliability, and asset management processes within the Oil & Gas sector. Should have experience in SAP PM configuration, support, and process optimization, with a strong understanding of maintenance operations and asset lifecycle management.
- The role involves working closely with business users, maintenance teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to support daily operations, resolve system issues, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Key Responsibilities: Provide functional support for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) processes and applications.
- Configure and maintain SAP PM functionalities, including: Technical Objects (Equipment & Functional Locations), Maintenance Notifications, Maintenance Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Task Lists, Work Centers, Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Support preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance processes.
- Monitor and resolve production incidents, service requests, and system issues within defined SLAs.
- Collaborate with maintenance planners, operations teams, and business stakeholders to improve maintenance efficiency.
- Support asset management and equipment lifecycle activities.
- Work closely with SAP MM, FICO, PS, EAM, and other integrated modules.
- Participate in system testing, UAT, regression testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, and training materials.
- Assist in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance standards, audit requirements, and organizational policies.
Key skills required
- Should have atleast 2-3 years of Strong experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) support and configuration.
- Hands-on knowledge of: Technical Master Data Management, Equipment and Functional Locations, Maintenance Notifications & Orders, Preventive Maintenance Planning, Task Lists and Work Centers, Breakdown and Corrective Maintenance, Maintenance Scheduling, Asset and Reliability Management
- Good understanding of maintenance and asset management business processes.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management/Plant Maintenance functionalities is preferred.
- Understanding of integration with: SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling), SAP PS (Project Systems).
- SAP EHS and Asset Management modules (preferred)
- Experience with incident management, change requests, and enhancement delivery.
- SAP PM Certification preferred.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Energy, Utilities, or Asset-Intensive Industries is highly desirable.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation projects is an advantage.
- Understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) concepts and reliability-centered maintenance practice.
- Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) – B.E/B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech.
