Responsibilities
- Lead large product initiatives or enhancements.
- Collaborate with Competitive Intelligence, Distribution, and Marketing to review industry trends and drive product positioning.
- Partner with functional areas to negotiate needs and facilitate product decisions.
- Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Manage external vendor relationships for product specifications, regulatory training, and other product specific relationships
- Drive strategic process improvements for the product line.
- Lead and/or oversee discussions to define product features, competitiveness, product sales tools, milestone dates, etc. and act as Product SME as needed.
- Responsible for delivery of product illustrations
- Mentor Junior team members.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree, or equivalent
- 5 Years experience in Financial Services/Insurance
- Expertise in at least one insurance/annuity product line and solid understanding of additional product lines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate with audiences of all levels and collaborate with functional areas
- Analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
- In depth understanding of systems that support at least one insurance/annuity product line with impacts across multiple functional areas
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable making independent decisions related to job function
Preferred Qualifications

- Industry specific expertise (finance, insurance, etc.)

Working Conditions
- Hybrid environment
- Travel (Occasional <10%) - may travel for internal meetings
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $90,000-$100,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 15% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
