Currently, we’re strengthening our Design department and like to bring on board a Proposition Developer - Personal and Business Banking - to the further development of our group-wide proposition portfolio.
How you will make a difference
You will help us to finance sustainable entrepreneurs, by driving the development of relevant, customer-focused and commercially strong propositions across Triodos Bank.
Next to shaping proposition development, you will be responsible for the Personal and Business Banking proposition portfolio from a group-wide product-market-customer vision, translating strategic direction into compelling products and services.
- You will plan, execute and interpret customer, market, competitor and societal research, in close cooperation with the department Impact & Economics and local market teams, and turn insights into actionable recommendations for proposition innovation.
- You will lead the development and testing of new propositions with customers across our markets, and guide delivery in close cooperation with our multi-disciplinary change teams.
- You will identify product-market and sector combinations, including the most suitable distribution approach, and support local teams in translating this into effective market execution.
- You will contribute the commercial perspective to group-wide strategic projects, including themes such as climate risk, sustainability integration and broader transformation initiatives.
- You will work across functions and countries to connect customer needs, commercial opportunities and impact ambitions and create clear proposition choices and roadmaps.

- work as an enthusiastic and supportive team player with strong client-facing capabilities and a clear drive to achieve results
Furthermore, it is desirable that you will have:
- a minimum of 7 years of experience in proposition development, product innovation, marketing, or a closely related commercial role within financial services or another complex service environment
- experienced in using customer-centred innovation methods such as design thinking, proposition validation and customer testing
- proven experience in developing and implementing customer propositions from concept to launch, ideally including testing, validation and go-to-market preparation
- experience working in an international and cross-functional environment with multiple markets, stakeholder groups and local customer needs
- the ability to connect market insight, commercial opportunities and societal themes into practical proposition decisions
- and you are located in the United Kingdom, Belgium or the Netherlands and willing to travel frequent to the Netherlands
Your future colleagues
You will be reporting directly to the Group Head of Design and cooperate closely with proposition developers, commercial portfolio analysts, value stream leads, marketeers, and colleagues in Impact & Economics.
The Design Team currently consists of proposition developers, customer experience experts and user experience designers. Within the team of +/- 15 colleagues, you will share knowledge, experience and best practices on customer-centric design methodology.
