We believe that money can change the world for the better. In fact, our organisation was founded on this belief. Our mission is to create a society that protects and promotes the quality of life of all its members with human dignity at its core.
We are currently looking for an HR Officer (32-36 hours per week) to strengthen the HR Service Delivery team. You will be the driving force behind our HR processes and act as the first point of contact for our co-workers in the Netherlands. Due to several large projects in the HR Service Delivery domain, we are looking for someone to join the team for a year (with possible extension).
How you will make a difference
You will help us to ‘change finance by financing change’, by being the first point of contact for all our co-workers in the Dutch entities. You provide support with your candid, clear and effective answers to their questions, working closely with HR colleagues and acting as a key connector across teams.
Next to supporting co-workers and managers in close collaboration with your HR colleagues:
- You will serve as an ambassador for the department by answering first-line questions from co-workers and managers in the field of HR.
- You will be responsible for personnel administration (including on-and offboarding, checking employment contracts and employment condition letters, processing co-worker changes and safeguarding both the employment law processes and our own HR processes).
- You will plan and organize HR events (including introductory meetings and information sessions on the use of our HR Portal, healthy & safe working and pension).
- You will take responsibility for the careful execution of various HR processes and policies, consider their impact on our co-workers, and proactively think about ways to improve them.
What you will bring
Your unique potential and your values matter for us most. We look for people who are self-aware and who think in a holistic way, always conscious about their impact on society, environment, and the economy.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- act with integrity and honesty, diligently safeguarding our policies and processes, managing personal information with care, and ensuring equal treatment for all.
- connect with co-workers and partners by using your strong communication skills, being open and approachable, and demonstrating a genuine desire to help others, all while fostering collaboration and building meaningful relationships.
Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in an HR role.
- Good communication skills in both Dutch(at least B1 level) and English.
- Experience with AFAS or other HR systems; you are able to independently handle personnel administration, run reports, and support HR processes within the system.
- Experience in roles where attention to detail and organization skills were crucial, ensuring meticulous work and that you are able to keep a clear overview.
- Experience with tasks requiring a strong sense of collaboration and initiative, ensuring effective communication and proactive contributions.
Your future colleagues
You will cooperate closely with your colleagues in the HR Service Delivery team such as the other HR Officers, Payroll Officers and HR Systems Specialists. Furthermore, you work closely with the HR specialist teams such as Compensation & Benefits and Talent Acquisition, as well as HR advisors and the international Triodos HR Community across four countries.
