This is an exciting opportunity to act as a Senior Manager in charge and join our team under our Financial Services group based in Sydney. Our team is growing due to the purposeful and impactful outcomes we deliver to our clients - that’s why we need you!

What will your typical day look like?

Motivated by achievement, your responsibility is to use your leadership skills to oversee the completion of complex securitisation engagements for a range of clients. You will set team direction, provide training on technical issues, manage client relations, assist with presentations, manage engagement economics, support the marketing team with new initiatives, promote efficient operations, and actively work with directors and partners to maintain quality through the development of our methodology. This is a rewarding opportunity to enhance your career through digitally enabled client services and set you on the path to advancement to a director level role.

About the Team

As a Senior Manager within Deloitte’s Securitisation and Mortgage Advisory team, you will play a key role in helping clients unlock the value of their loan receivable portfolios with support on securitisation transactions. You will also provide specialist support to major lenders, banks and financial institutions on complex regulatory matters under the National Consumer Credit Protection (NCCP) Act and related regulatory frameworks.

We support our clients in securing their funding needs while delivering trusted services to the capital markets. The role combines deep technical understanding of financial services regulation and / or securitisation, with practical consulting capability to help clients navigate their obligations, strengthen controls, and respond to a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. We are a growing, highly motivated team committed to making an impact that matters – for our clients and for all stakeholders involved.

In this role, you will work within multi-disciplinary teams across a range of engagements, including securitisation transactions, buyer and vendor due diligence in M&A deals, and bespoke advisory work tailored to client needs. Alongside gaining valuable experience with iconic financial services clients, you will have access to Deloitte’s extensive training and development programs, with support available to pursue further study.

As a Senior Manager, based in the Sydney Office, you will oversee multiple, complex regulatory and securitisation engagements and own key client relationships across major banking and lending institutions. You will shape engagement strategy and scope, provide insights to executives and boards, and drive solutions that integrate regulatory, risk, and business considerations. You will be expected to lead practice and market development activities, including identifying new opportunities, developing service offerings and thought leadership, and mentoring emerging leaders to build a high-performing Securitisation and Mortgage Advisory team. You will be willing to contribute and be a leader in the wider Deloitte team, including learning to work and lead cross business unit opportunities and relationships.
