UKG Pro WFM Functional Specialist | Operate | Sydney

We are seeking a talented Manager to join our Operate team. This is a permanent role that will support you in growing your career, working across a number of exciting client projects and an opportunity to be part of a market-leading team.

To aid our success in this space, we are seeking a skilled and experienced UKG Functional Support specialist to join our WFM Operate team that will provide support to our clients across UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM).
As a UKG Pro WFM support specialist, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to providing specialist-led support for complex or ongoing functions for our clients, ensuring they achieve their desired outcomes.
What will your typical day look like?
- Engage directly with clients: Provide functional support and advice to clients and identify / document requirements for change.
- Troubleshoot: Investigate issues, identifying root causes and implement fixes or workarounds.
- Configure, Build & Test: Build and maintain pay and work rules, calendars, shift templates and more and to meet agreed business requirements.
- Manage Releases: Review functions & features of new releases, prepare release notes, conduct impact analysis and other release readiness activities.
- Maintain Certifications and Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest UKG product releases and maintain applicable certifications.
- Ensure Best Practices: Consider factors such as the best use of functionality, user experience, and more to deliver the best value and customer-aligned solutions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with our highly talented WFM consulting team to transition clients to support, provide functional and advisory support ensuring timely and expert assistance with UKG.

You will be someone with a genuine interest in both the human and technical side of HR, payroll, and workforce management technology. While you’ll certainly have expertise in UKG software, you’ll need to develop a strong aptitude for consulting in a client-facing environment:
- Proven experience as a consultant or client working on UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM).
- Strong knowledge in one or more UKG Pro WFM functional areas such as Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Absence/Leave and Accruals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
