United Way Greater Nigeria (UWGN), an affiliate of United Way Worldwide (UWW) is a nonprofit organization that strives to improve the health, education, and financial security of everyone in every community.

United Way Worldwide is one of the largest charities in the world, with 1,800 local affiliates in over 40 countries and territories raising $5.2 billion annually. United Way Worldwide provides services to a network of member United Ways, donors and partner organizations around the world. At the global, national and local level, it has long-standing partnerships with Fortune 500 corporations, non-profit and voluntary sector leaders and mayors, governors and other elected officials. To effectively deliver on its local strategic plan, United Way Nigeria is seeking to fill the critical role of Head of Programmes.

Job Purpose

The Head of Programmes is responsible for the strategic leadership, design, implementation, and quality assurance of all programmes and projects in line with the strategy of the organization. The role ensures that programmes deliver measurable impact, comply with donor and regulatory requirements, and align with the organization’s mission and strategy.
