The team
The Payroll Team will be responsible for managing employee CTC reimbursements, Provident Fund, Investment Proofs verification, validating FNF inputs and handling employee queries.
Your work profile
- Approve employee vehicle details updated in the system by an employee.
- Review and approve vehicle reimbursement claims as per limits defined in the employee’s CTC structure.
- Verify and approve telephone and internet reimbursement claims in line with policy limits.
- Process and approve Leave Travel Allowance (LTA) claims and calculate taxability as per applicable Income Tax rules.
- Respond to employee queries related to reimbursement claims and payroll matters in a timely manner.
- Verify tax investment proofs submitted by employees for accurate TDS computation.
- Support monthly Provident Fund processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Send reminders and follow up with employees for pending submissions (investment proofs, reimbursement documents, declarations, etc.).
- Assist in ensuring adherence to company policies and statutory regulations related to payroll.
- Handle other day-to-day payroll related operational activities as required.
Key skills required:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Good communication skills to handle employee queries effectively.
- Ability to manage timelines and handle multiple tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in payroll operations or finance-related role preferred.
- Experience in handling reimbursements and tax proof verification will be an added advantage.
