The principal focus of this group is to customize technical solutions for global Deloitte Member Firms to address a variety of business needs including marketing and communication, knowledge management, learning and development, and overall process automation. The team uses primarily Microsoft SharePoint (on-prem and cloud) as a platform. We use various web development and automation tools/technologies (i.e. HTML, jQuery, Java Script, React Js, BootStrap,REST API, JSON, Nintex, KwizCom, Kendo, Azure, Power Apps/Flows, and many more) within a structured delivery process to develop products that deliver significant value to our internal customers across Deloitte’s global network.
Work you'll do
As a Software Engineer I on the CoRe Business Solutions, Digital Customer Solutions team, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and customize SharePoint solutions using SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Online to support business needs across Deloitte member firms
- Configure and enhance SharePoint sites using tools such as SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and web development technologies including HTML, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, and CSS
- Test, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain SharePoint solutions to support reliability, compatibility, and minimal disruption to existing services
- Collaborate with lead developers, solution architects, and team members to clarify requirements, resolve technical issues, and deliver project updates
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and end-user adoption
The team
The CoRe Business Solutions, Digital Customer Solutions team builds and supports internal digital solutions for Deloitte member firms. The team focuses on SharePoint-based applications, workflow automation, and web technologies that help improve communication, knowledge sharing, learning, and business processes. Team members work closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders across Deloitte’s network to deliver scalable solutions for internal users.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- B.E./B.Tech. or M.Tech. with 60% or 6.5 GPA and above throughout with no current backlogs
- 2+ years of experience developing solutions in SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2019, or SharePoint Online
- 2+ years of experience using HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Bootstrap, CSS3, or XSLT
- Experience performing create, read, update, and delete operations using SharePoint Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs
- Experience building applications or extensions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Experience using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, or similar tools to customize SharePoint sites
Preferred:
- Experience with Nintex, KwizCom, KWIZ Apps, or KWIZ Workflows
- Experience with Power Apps or Power Automate
- Experience with ShareGate or SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT)
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including user story management
- Experience with unit testing and deployment packaging across development and production environments
- Experience creating site columns, content types, libraries, permissions, and search navigation in SharePoint
