As an SAP CO-Product Costing Functional Senior Consultant, you will work with strategic advisors, functional specialists, and technology professionals to support large-scale finance and operational transformation programs.
In this role, you will help clients design, implement, and optimize SAP Controlling solutions with a focus on Product Costing, enabling stronger cost visibility, improved decision-making, and more effective business operations. With Deloitte’s industry depth, process knowledge, and collaborative delivery approach, you will support clients through complex transformation journeys and help deliver sustainable business outcomes.
Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Lead SAP Controlling (CO) functional activities by gathering business requirements, conducting current-state and future-state workshops, and supporting solution design aligned to client objectives.
- Configure and support SAP CO processes, including product costing, cost center accounting, cost element accounting, internal orders, profitability analysis (CO-PA), profit center accounting, and activity-based costing.
- Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to translate requirements into functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and implementation deliverables.
- Support integration of SAP CO with Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Sales and Distribution (SD) processes across implementation, enhancement, and support engagements.
- Contribute to issue resolution, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities while guiding junior team members and delivering work products within established timelines.

Shift Timings: 24x7 rotational shifts, including night shifts, based on business requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- 6-10 years of experience working with SAP Controlling (CO)
- Experience with at least 4 SAP CO areas, including product costing, cost center accounting, cost-element accounting, internal orders, profitability analysis (CO-PA), profit center accounting, or activity-based costing
- Experience integrating SAP CO with Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), or Sales and Distribution (SD)
- Experience with SAP implementation or support projects in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA environments
- Experience leading or participating in blueprint workshops focused on SAP CO
- Experience writing functional specifications, process documentation, or test scenarios for SAP CO solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering
Preferred:
- Experience supporting production support or application maintenance engagements
- Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management processes
- Experience using Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tools
