As an SAP SD Functional Sr Consultant, you will work with business, operations, and technology teams to support large-scale transformation initiatives that improve order-to-cash processes, sales operations, customer fulfillment, and enterprise performance.
In this role, you will help design, implement, and optimize SAP Sales and Distribution solutions that align business requirements with operational goals and evolving business needs. With Deloitte’s industry knowledge, functional experience, and collaborative delivery approach, you will help clients modernize sales and distribution processes, improve efficiency across the supply chain, and deliver scalable business outcomes.
Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you'll do
As a Sr Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Support issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution across SAP applications in testing and production environments.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs, configuration decisions, and solution documentation.
- Perform hands-on configuration, testing, defect management, and deployment support for SAP solutions and enhancements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and global delivery teams to support project execution and timely delivery.
- Contribute to project meetings, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous learning initiatives across the practice.

Shift Timings: 24x7 shifts, including night shifts as per business requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- 6-10 years of experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations, application support, or integration with one or more SAP modules
- Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, prototyping, testing, training, and supporting SAP business applications
- Experience leading or participating in solution design workshops and translating business requirements into functional deliverables
- Experience with hands-on SAP configuration, testing, defect analysis, and deployment support
- Experience collaborating with business users, technical teams, and global delivery teams across project phases
- Experience preparing functional specifications, test scenarios, training materials, or support documentation
- BE, BTech, MCA, MSc (Computer Science), or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other modern SAP products
- Experience working across small and large delivery teams
- Experience supporting end-user training and user adoption activities
