Position Summary
Level: Analytics and Insights Engineer II
As an experienced Consultant/ Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
As a practitioner in Deloitte’s Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will:
Collaborate with analytics teams to manage and analyze big and small data.
Apply advanced analytics and create impactful visualizations (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI).
Deliver high-quality work and adapt quickly, independently or in teams.
Use strong SQL skills to wrangle and transform data across databases (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
Employ data wrangling and analytics expertise using Python, R, SPSS, Minitab, and Excel.
Support teams by identifying and resolving technical or data issues, ensuring insights address business needs.

Qualifications:
Must have Skills:
3–10 years of experience in data visualization troubleshooting, including resolving object failures, database connectivity issues, and data processing errors, preferably within Tableau.
3+ years supporting data analytics using statistical and analytical software such as R, SAS, SPSS Statistics, SPSS Modeler, Minitab, or Matlab.
Experience in Supply Chain analytics, with familiarity in working with supply chain-related data sources such as SAP Planning or Oracle Planning modules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical data analytics issues.
Proficiency in programming with Python or similar scripting languages (e.g., R, SQL).
Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or Alteryx for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Qlik Sense, or Power BI, enabling effective communication of insights.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, for documentation and presentation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams.
Good to have Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues swiftly, supporting smooth analytics operations.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity to exercise mature judgment in ambiguous situations.
Experience with big consulting firms or relevant industry experience, providing valuable context and best practices.
Exposure to advanced analytics methodologies or emerging technologies in data science.
Familiarity with additional supply chain platforms or planning modules beyond SAP and Oracle.
Experience with workflow automation or cloud-based analytics environments.
Professional certifications in analytics, data visualization, or supply chain management.
Education:
B.E, B.Tech, BBA from a leading school in India or abroad
