Join Deloitte Tax in India’s Global Employer Services (GES) – Process Technology Team as a Tax Consultant II supporting tax technology transformation. In this role, you will work with product engineering teams and business leaders to design and improve technology-enabled processes and products that enhance the digital experience for clients and customers. You will help shape modern generative AI solutions, support product design efforts, and contribute to scalable delivery aligned to evolving business needs.
Work you'll do
As a Tax Consultant II on the Global Employer Services – Process Technology Team, you will be responsible for:
- Design and develop agentic AI and generative AI solutions with a strong focus on Python-based engineering and modern implementation patterns
- Partner with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to build persona-based experiences and workflows aligned to business outcomes
- Define adoption goals, track usage and impact metrics, and refine solutions based on feedback to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain technical documentation, including architecture materials, prompts or agents, evaluation results, and runbooks, while providing status updates across concurrent projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders and GES leadership to prioritize the GenAI roadmap, manage trade-offs, and support delivery against business objectives

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-6 years of experience in Python software engineering, including application programming interfaces, testing, and packaging
- Experience building large language model applications using agent frameworks, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector stores, guardrails, or evaluations
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems using application programming interfaces and secure implementation patterns
- Experience defining and tracking usage, cycle-time, accuracy, or quality metrics for digital or AI solutions
- Experience preparing technical documentation, including architecture materials, evaluation results, or runbooks
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
Preferred:
- Experience with GenAI-based document processing or optical character recognition workflows, such as Azure Document Intelligence
- Experience operationalizing AI applications, including monitoring, prompt or agent regression testing, and human-in-the-loop review
- Experience applying data privacy or security considerations to enterprise GenAI implementations
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or Engineering, or industry-recognized professional certification.
