Your Work profile:
Associate Director | Private Cloud - Compute and Virtualization
As an Associate Director at Deloitte, you are responsible to own end-to-end Private Cloud strategy, architecture, and delivery governance. Responsible for solutioning, sizing, proposals, customer consulting, and large-scale implementations. Drives best practices and platform standardization.
Key Skills Required:
- Define Private Cloud reference architecture & blueprints
- Lead the evaluation and integration of SDDC technologies such as VMware NSX, VMware vSAN, Cisco ACI, Nutanix, or other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to implement SDDC strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Create architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices for SDDC deployment and management.
- Drive automation and orchestration initiatives using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Assess existing data center environments and recommend transformation plans to software-defined infrastructure.
- Oversee proof-of-concepts, pilot projects, and full-scale implementations of SDDC components
- Perform: Workload discovery: Capacity modelling, Cost modelling (TCO/ROI), Hardware sizing.
- Architect: Compute clusters, Network design (leaf-spine/SDN/micro-segmentation), Container platforms, Security & compliance controls
- Provide presales support and solution proposals
- Define automation-first approach (IaC)
- Standardize operational frameworks (SRE/ITIL)
- Drive modernization and hybrid cloud integration
- Prepare and present strategic roadmaps and status reports to senior leadership..
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver large-scale cloud projects
- 12years + years total IT infra
- 7+ years architecture/consulting
- Experience with enterprise or large-scale deployment

- SDDC & Private Cloud design
- Enterprise virtualization platforms
- Storage performance engineering
- Advanced networking & SDN
- Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms
- Backup/DR/BCP
- Security hardening
- Strong solutioning + customer consulting skills
- Experience leading large implementations (500+ VM / multi-PB environments)
- Financial and capacity modelling skills
- Automation-first mindset
Certifications (Highly Preferred)
- VCDX / Nutanix NCM / Red Hat OpenShift Specialist / TOGAF
