Position Summary
Level: Consultant, Technical Transformation
As a Consultant, Technical Transformation, you will contribute to enterprise asset management transformation initiatives by supporting analysis, design, development, and implementation activities. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver quality work products, support technical problem-solving, and help drive project outcomes within established timelines. In this role, you may also support junior team members and collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to translate functional needs into technical solutions.
Work you’ll do:
As a Consultant, Technical Transformation, you will be responsible for:
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements aligned to industry and sector-specific needs
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including technical design, development, deployment, testing, and defect resolution
- Perform peer reviews and support quality assurance activities to maintain delivery standards
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation
- Build and share business process knowledge, identify improvement opportunities, and support automation and innovation initiatives

Qualifications
Required
- 3-6 years of experience in enterprise asset management (EAM) implementation and consulting
- Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) with hands-on in IFS Developer Studio, Report Designer.
- Experience building or supporting application programming interface (API)-based integrations, IFS CONNECT and third-party system connectors (APIGEE, BOOMI, MuleSoft)
- Mandatory CRIM Experience in developing Custom Objects (LU, attribute), Events, Workflows, Permission Sets, Migration Jobs, Report Design and code modifications.
- Experience troubleshooting issues, bug fixes, improving database performance, and optimizing application behavior
- Module Experience: Hands-on experience in EAM – Preventive, Conditional Maintenance, Work Order Management, Material Reservation, Inventory Management with proven knowledge in process flows and core IFS functionalities 24R1 or above.
- Experience with IFS Data Model, IFS Aurena Framework (Projection, Client) and IFS Application Server.
- Security & Compliance Awareness: Understanding of data security best practices, system access controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Documentation Proficiency: Ability to create technical design documents (TDDs), coding guidelines, and system architecture diagrams
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree
Preferred:
- Power, Utilities and Renewables Industry knowledge and experience
- IFS Practitioner Certifications in EAM / Technical Consultant / Developer
- Experience in Other Modules – IFS Projects, Procurement, SCM
