Work you'll do
As a Senior, Tax Services on the Belgium Accounting & Tax Reporting team, you will be responsible for supporting client accounting, reporting, and compliance activities in a fast-changing regulatory environment.
- Manage a portfolio of clients and support financial administration activities.
- Review journal entries and analyze accounting data to support accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a periodic basis.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation and finalization of annual accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements and corporate income tax computations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.

As part of an integrated, multidisciplinary model, we work closely with our Belgium colleagues to deliver high-quality support that goes beyond compliance and creates tangible value for the client’s business. With deliverables closely aligned to client priorities, our work often contributes to meaningful business decisions and outcomes. Qualifications
Required:
- 4+ years of experience in Record to Report (R2R) processes, preferably supporting SME client.
- Strong experience in general ledger accounting, journal entry review and analysis, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Understanding of how financial reporting drives business insights and supports better decision-making.
- Experience with Belgian accounting and reporting requirements is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Exposure to Luxembourg GAAP or French GAAP is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and a critical mindset for self-review.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, accountancy, or another finance-related discipline.
- Fluency in English; French and Dutch language skills are optional but beneficial.
