As a consultant in the workforce solution/Technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration and reporting solutions with a strong focus on SQL Server and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong technical expertise in SQL development and ETL processes, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Work you'll do
As a Tax Consultant II on the Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Writing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views in SQL Server
- Performing data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and quality checks to support reliable data pipelines
- Developing and supporting reporting solutions using SSRS or similar reporting tools, and assisting with enhancements or migration activities
- Collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot data issues, support deployments, and maintain process documentation

Qualifications
Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in SQL development, data engineering, or ETL development
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL development
- Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL development
- Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, including fact tables, dimension tables, and star schema
- Experience with SSRS or similar reporting tools
Preferred:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory or AWS ETL tools
- Experience with AWS cloud services and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Python or scripting for automation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools, including Azure DevOps or Git
- Experience in database performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience working in Agile development environments
