Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“USI Tax”) offers professionals the opportunity to support U.S. and international tax practices across a broad global network. In this role, you will support statutory accounting and financial statement preparation activities for cross-border engagements, with exposure to multiple jurisdictions including Belgium and other European markets. You will work in a tax transformation environment that combines technology and tax technical resources to support reporting requirements, operational efficiency, and high-quality client service.
Work you'll do
As a Senior, Tax Services on the statutory accounting team, you will be responsible for supporting statutory accounting compliance and financial statements preparation activities.
- You prepare the conversion of accounts from management GAAP (USGAAP or IFRS) to local/any European GAAP through the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- You share knowledge with junior team members and assist your managers with the delivery of accounting services to an international client portfolio.
- GAAP Conversion Preparation (Bridge files): Convert accounts from management GAAP (US GAAP or IFRS) to local or any European GAAP (e.g., Belgium, French, German, UK, etc.); Statutory Financial Statements: Prepare statutory financial statements and notes disclosures.
- Quality Risk and Compliance: Adhere to 100% of procedures for Quality Risk and compliance by following guidance from checklists; managing to plan and deliver work based on the individual calendars available; collaborating and frequent interaction with your colleagues across different locations for the delivery of statutory financial statements.
- Proficiency in reporting tools: Demonstrate hands-on experience with GAAP conversion and financial statements reporting tools such as Workiva, Thomson Reuters, CaseWare, and similar platforms; Data Management: Efficiently manage and process financial data using advanced Excel functions and other data analysis software; Automation and Efficiency: Leverage technology to automate routine tasks and enhance the efficiency of financial statements reporting processes.
The team
The statutory accounting practice at Hyderabad supports the Deloitte organization in Belgium who supports their client with statutory accounting compliance and financial statements preparation along with corporate income tax compliance processes. A comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary functional and technical skills.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Full time Bachelor’s (BCom) in Commerce or equivalent from reputed University with minimum of 60% and above or equivalent CGPA
- MBA Finance/ PGDBM Finance/MCOM – Full Time – 60% and Above
- CPT / CA Inter with 3 years Articleship experience
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a reputed firm.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical level
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products — Excel, Word, etc.
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools such as Workiva, Thomson Reuters, CaseWare, and similar platforms.
- Ability to multi-task various client responsibilities through prioritization of activities
- Capability of handling high work pressure during busy season
- Ability to integrate rapidly with existing team
