Level: Consultant, Technical Transformation
As a Consultant, Technical Transformation, you will be responsible for the design, technical development, customization, integration, and data migration of IFS Cloud SCM solutions for Power & Utilities. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into system requirements, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of IFS functionalities.
Work you'll do
As a Consultant, Technical Transformation on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and customizing IFS Cloud supply chain management solutions using Structured Query Language (SQL), Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL), Custom Objects, and IFS development tools
- Designing and implementing integrations between IFS enterprise resource planning (ERP) and third-party applications
- Performing testing, validation, deployment, and technical troubleshooting for custom functionalities and system performance issues
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including workflows, configurations, and technical design artifacts
- Collaborating with client stakeholders and functional consultants to gather requirements, map business needs to IFS capabilities, and support user adoption

Qualifications
Required:
- Strong Programming Skills: Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL with hands-on in IFS Developer Studio, Report Designer.
- Hands-on Experience in Integrations: Experience in API-based integrations, middleware solutions, IFS Connect configurations and third-party system connectors.
- Customization & Extensions: Experience in CRIM development – custom objects, events, order reports, creating / modifying workflows, basic data setup, Migration jobs and enhancing system functionalities.
- Module Experience: Hands-on experience in SCM, Procurement modules with proven knowledge in process flows and core IFS functionalities 24R1 or above.
- Performance Optimization: Ability to troubleshoot system issues, enhance database performance, and optimize application behavior.
- IFS Application & Technical Framework: Solid grasp of IFS Data Model, IFS Aurena, and IFS Application Server or IFS Cloud.
- Security & Compliance Awareness: Data security best practices, system access controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Documentation Proficiency: Ability to create technical design documents (TDDs), coding guidelines, and system architecture diagrams.
- Strong understanding of SCM modules: Procurement, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning, Demand Forecasting, Sales & Order Management.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech), Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.), or Master of Science in Computer Science (M.Sc. CS) from an accredited university
Preferred:
- IFS Practitioner Certifications in SCM / Technical Consultant / Developer
- Experience delivering IFS Cloud solutions for Power & Utilities clients
- Experience with data migration activities for enterprise resource planning implementations
- Experience conducting system testing, validation, and deployment activities
- Experience supporting security, access controls, and data integrity requirements within enterprise systems
- Experience conducting user workshops, training sessions, and solution demonstrations
