Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (USI Tax) supports Deloitte Tax LLP and other member firm teams through integrated tax and technology services. As a Tax Technology Services Consultant II, you will help deliver product support, testing, and implementation coordination for tax technology solutions. This role combines user support, user acceptance testing, documentation, and issue management to help improve the experience of internal and external users.
Work you'll do
As a Tax Technology Services Consultant II on the Tax Technology team, you will be responsible for:• Provide support to internal and external users through email, phone, chat, and ticketing channels, including issue triage and resolution tracking• Troubleshoot software, access, and authentication issues; document resolutions; and create knowledge base content for recurring issues• Execute user acceptance testing activities, including test execution, defect logging, retesting, and feedback on user experience• Create process flows, mock-ups, and other simple visual materials to clarify requirements and support solution design discussions• Support user onboarding, access management, documentation, implementation activities, and reporting of support metrics and process improvement opportunities

USI Tax’s Tax Technology team helps deliver technology-enabled solutions that support tax compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency. The team works closely with business, product, and support stakeholders to improve tools, resolve user issues, and support implementation activities across tax workflows. This team is well suited to professionals who enjoy combining technology support, structured problem solving, and user-focused delivery.
Position Summary
Join our Tax Technology team as a Tech Support Consultant and be the bridge between users and product — you'll attempt first line technical fixes, escalate issues to the support/product team when needed, own UAT, support project launches, and simplify documentation to deliver better outcomes for clients.

Qualifications
Required:• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Information Systems• 1+ years of experience in technical support, software support, customer service, project support, user acceptance testing, or quality assurance• Experience using ticketing or case management tools to log, track, and resolve issues• Experience using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word in a business environment• Experience documenting defects, test results, process flows, user stories, process design documents, solution design documents, or user guidesPreferred:• Experience supporting tax technology, finance technology, or other enterprise applications• User acceptance testing or quality assurance, including defect tracking and validation• Working in an Agile delivery environment• SQL or basic database concepts• Accounting, business management, or tax workflow processes
