As an SAP PaPM -Tax Technology Services Consultant II, you will help translate tax and business requirements into scalable technology solutions that support complex business change. As an SAP PaPM -Tax Technology Services Consultant II on the Tax Management Consulting team, you will be responsible for…
- Evaluating client tax and business requirements to define SAP PaPM and broader tax technology solution designs
- Translating functional requirements into system design specifications and supporting configuration, build, testing, and deployment activities
- Assessing current-state processes, supply chains, and systems landscapes to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Coordinating with client stakeholders, internal teams, and systems integration partners to communicate status, resolve issues, and support project delivery
- Contributing to demos, solution assets, and internal accelerators that support Deloitte’s S/4HANA Tax Value Proposition
The team
Tax Management Consulting brings together consulting, technology, tax, and tax reporting experience to help organizations address multi-jurisdictional tax operations, compliance, reporting, tax technology, and tax risk management. Within this practice, the S/4HANA Tax Value Proposition supports SAP-enabled business transformation by helping clients design and implement tax solutions that align with broader enterprise processes. Professionals on this team work across complex transformation programs with Deloitte practitioners and client stakeholders to deliver practical, scalable tax technology solutions.
Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Gurgaon / Mumbai

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Taxation; or MBA; or Chartered Accountant qualification
- 3-7 years of experience in SAP or SAP S/4HANA
- Experience implementing SAP PaPM in project environments
- Experience with SAP HANA, SQL Script, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP HANA Studio
- Experience working with project delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
- Experience supporting SAP migration and testing processes
- Experience preparing client demos and presentation materials for stakeholder audiences
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Experience integrating SAP with other modules
- Knowledge of tax touchpoints within SAP and SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with tax procedures, tax conditions, general ledger setup, tax codes, access sequences, condition records, and intercompany tax configuration
