Sr QE Automation
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD and Cypress
· Build and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured
· Perform data validation, SQL-based testing, and data pipeline quality checks
· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
· Conduct various test types — unit, integration, API, smoke, system, and performance testing
· Manage test data, test planning, and test execution across complex data and cloud environments
· Work with Oracle, SQL Server, and ETL tools
· Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to improve testing efficiency
· Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product owners in an agile team
Skills and Experience Required
· 4-6 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
· Strong proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Cypress, and Java
· Experience with API automation using Rest Assured. Strong API testing experience using Postman, including scripting and collection automation.
· Proficient in SQL queries and data validation across relational databases
· Experience with Azure and/or AWS ecosystems
· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and in-sprint test automation
· Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and data warehouse architectures
- Proven ability to own QA deliverables across the full project lifecycle, from inception and design review through validation and release.
- Strong experience in both test automation and hands-on manual QA
· Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) is a plus
· Experience working in agile delivery teams
· Ability to lead, mentor, and manage offshore QA engineers.
· Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, documentation, and presentation skills.
· Demonstrated ability to provide regular project and quality updates to management in a clear
