Role and Responsibilities:
Payments & Cards
Deloitte is actively hiring Business Analyst experienced in the Banking domain and Digital Transformation initiatives, specifically in Payments (Domestic / International Payment Schemes, end-to-end Payment’s lifecycle experience, corporate payments).
- Overall, needs to exhibit excellent knowledge of end-to-end lifecycle of payments – initiation, processing, clearing and settlement.
- Excellent knowledge on Credit/Debit cards.
- Knowledge of International and Domestic Payments / SchemesKnowledge of Cross border payment schemes like SEPA / Target 2 / CHAPS / SWIFT messages (MT, pain., pacs. series) is an added advantage
- ISO20022 migration experience is an added advantage
- Working knowledge of various SWIFT messages associated to the settlements / corporate actions flows used by banks in various markets.In-depth understanding of Clearing, Settlements & Corporate Actions processing and associated systems and flow
For ISO20022 PM
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale ISO 20022 transformation program across complex financial systems.
- Drive planning, execution, and implementation of ISO 20022 standards in alignment with regulatory timelines and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, operations, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration.
- Provide strategic direction, governance, and oversight to ensure on-time and quality delivery of program milestones.
- Leverage prior experience in delivering complex payment modernization initiatives and managing large-scale transformation programs.
For Payments BA
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to cross-border payment processing and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and payment networks (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022) to define and validate solutions.
- Translate complex payment flows and settlement processes into clear functional specifications and user stories.
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements traceability, testing support, and defect resolution.Bring strong domain knowledge of cross-border payments, FX, compliance (e.g., AML, sanctions screening), and industry standards (e.g., SWIFT gpi, ISO 20022).
Level of Experience required:
- 12-18Yrs (8+ years as Relevant)
- FX Order Placement & Execution
- Spot FX Transactions: Instantly convert currencies at prevailing market rates. Customers can transfer funds between their own accounts in different currencies or make international payments.
- Forward Contracts: Lock in an exchange rate for a future date, helping customers manage currency risk for upcoming transactions.
- FX Limit Orders: Set target exchange rates; the app automatically executes the conversion when the market hits the specified rate.
- FX Rate Alerts & Market Insights
- Rate Notifications: Set up alerts for preferred exchange rates, so customers are notified when their target rate is reached.
- Market News & Analysis: Access curated FX market insights, trends, and forecasts directly within the app.
