Job Description: SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) ConsultantPosition: SAP PaPM ConsultantExperience: 3+ years overall, with minimum 1 y-2ears in SAP PaPMLocation: AnyEmployment Type: Full-time About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Consultant with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and enhancing PaPM solutions. The candidate will work closely with clients to deliver value-driven insights by modeling profitability, performance, and cost allocations. This role requires both deep functional knowledge in finance and technical expertise in SAP ecosystems, making it ideal for consultants who thrive in solving complex business problems. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, configure, test, implement, and enhance solutions in SAP PaPM.Deliver agreed business requirements, ensuring alignment with finance and performance goals.Design and implement cost and revenue allocation processes and driver-based models.Work on resolving issues, troubleshooting, and proposing innovative solutions.Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.Ensure effective integration of PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAC, BPC, FICO, PCM, BO, and non-SAP systems.Develop robust data models, calculation logic, rules, and allocation scenarios in PaPM.Provide performance optimization, tuning, and validation for large-scale models.Participate in end-to-end implementations, including blueprinting, design, UAT, training, and go-live.Manage stakeholders across geographies and time zones, ensuring timely project delivery.Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding junior team members and supporting knowledge transfer. Required Skills & Experience3+ years overall consulting/IT experience with at least 3-4 years hands-on in SAP PaPM.Strong knowledge of profitability analysis, cost allocations, transfer pricing, and performance modeling.Implementation experience in SAP PaPM and exposure to one or more of:SAP BW / SAP HANA / SAP BPC / SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).Understanding of SAP architecture, processes, and data structures.Strong technical skills: SQL scripting, SAP HANA modeling, ABAP exposure.Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs and deliver workable solutions.Excellent communication skills (English) with proven experience working in cross-cultural, global project teams.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP PaPM implementations preferred. Good to HaveExperience in financial services, utilities, or manufacturing industries.Knowledge of SAP SAC Planning & Reporting.Familiarity with cloud deployment models (SAP BTP, HANA Cloud). EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.Professional certifications in SAP PaPM, FI/CO, BW/HANA, or SAC will be an advantage.
